Class Update – 8th March

We are continuing to follow the latest Government guidance and will be continuing to provide online classes until we are allowed to return to in-studio classes safely. If the government’s roadmap out of lockdown runs to its anticipated schedule then we hope to be able to welcome our dancers who are under 18 years of age back to the studio after the Easter break (after 12th April), and our pupils aged 18 years and over back to face to face classes after 17th May. This will be subject to change if guidance changes in the meantime, but we will keep...

Dancers In Pyjamas Week (8th-14th February)

Don’t forget this coming week (Monday 8th-Sunday 15th February) is Dancers in Pyjamas week at Dance Warehouse and you can wear your pyjamas and onesies for all of your dance classes! Please don’t forget to wear your usual dance footwear though too! At Dance Warehouse we are proud to have supported Delmelza in the past through our fundraising at our biennial summer performances. Sadly due to the Covid pandemic we were unable to hold our show last July so we hope that our ‘Dancers in Pyjamas’ week can go a little way to helping this fantastic cause instead. So many...

FEBRUARY PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION RESULTS

A big thank you to everyone who entered our photographic competition. We have not only been delighted by the number of entries we have received but also amazed at the incredible standard of the photos! We are very impressed by the effort and creativity that has gone into them which has made it an incredibly hard decision to choose our winners, so much so that we have decided to award everyone that entered with a little gift from us to say well done!   After a great deal of deliberation we have decided on our winning entries….   1st place...

Google Classrooms

We are very pleased to be returning to the studio again this term and hope that is where we will stay! However should anything change and restrictions be implemented during the term (or we get snowed in!) don’t forget our Google Classrooms are the quickest point of reference to access online classes. They are also the place to find pre-recorded classes to do at home should you have to isolate, and we will be adding more of these during the term. If you have not already joined our Google Classrooms please follow the instructions by clicking on the link below...

Important Class Update – 1st November 2020

IMPORTANT CLASS UPDATE FOLLOWING THE GOVERNMENT’S ANNOUNCEMENT 1ST NOVEMBER 2020     Dear Parents and Pupils,   Following the government’s announcement on Saturday evening I wanted to confirm that in-studio classes will continue until Wednesday and that then we will be transitioning back to online classes from Thursday when the national lockdown takes effect. I know how disappointed you will all be to hear this news having only been back in the studio for half term (as are we!) but unfortunately as dance schools are not recognised as part of the education sector we have to shut by law.  ...

January 2021 Update

We look forward to seeing our pupils again when our spring term starts on Monday 4th January. Following the government’s latest tier review placing Kent in tier 4, we are unfortunately having to close the studio doors once more and will be transitioning back online for the start of the spring term. Classes will be delivered via Zoom and Katieanne’s Private Facebook Pages as they were during previous lockdowns and all login codes can be found in the relevant Google Classrooms. We are also in the process of uploading some pre-recorded classes where possible as an alternative option for those...

May Update

Dear Pupils and Parents, I hope that you are continuing to stay safe and well during these rather surreal times. I would like to send you all my heartfelt thanks for your continued support over the last couple of months. We greatly appreciate the many lovely messages of support which you have sent during these uncertain and challenging times. It has been so nice to see all of the pupils smiling back at us on our screens (and sometimes their dogs and cats too!) and still being able to enjoy their dancing. Thank you to all of our staff, and...

Return to in-studio classes

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday we are now pleased to confirm that we are able to welcome students back in to the studio after Easter! At the start of term (Friday 16th April) we are able to resume face to face classes for any school pupils  including those who are in year 13 and have had their 18th birthday. Anyone aged 18 years and over should be able to return after 17th May (government updates allowing). Classes for those over 18 years will continue to run online until this time. Please do check our summer term timetables by clicking on the links below...
