January 2021 Update

We look forward to seeing our pupils again when our spring term starts on Monday 4th January. Following the government’s latest tier review placing Kent in tier 4, we are unfortunately having to close the studio doors once more and will be transitioning back online for the start of the spring term. Classes will be delivered via Zoom and Katieanne’s Private Facebook Pages as they were during previous lockdowns and all login codes can be found in the relevant Google Classrooms. We are also in the process of uploading some pre-recorded classes where possible as an alternative option for those...

Following the government’s announcement yesterday advising that Kent is in tier 3 we are pleased to confirm that all pupils under 18 years can return to in-studio from Wednesday 2nd December! We will continue to provide online classes for anyone over 18 years, and will be sending out emails by the end of Monday with further details so please keep an eye out for this. If you do not receive an email (please do check your junk inbox) then do get in touch. All previous Covid-safe precautions will continue to be in place in the studio and we look forward...

Important Class Update – 1st November 2020

IMPORTANT CLASS UPDATE FOLLOWING THE GOVERNMENT’S ANNOUNCEMENT 1ST NOVEMBER 2020     Dear Parents and Pupils,   Following the government’s announcement on Saturday evening I wanted to confirm that in-studio classes will continue until Wednesday and that then we will be transitioning back to online classes from Thursday when the national lockdown takes effect. I know how disappointed you will all be to hear this news having only been back in the studio for half term (as are we!) but unfortunately as dance schools are not recognised as part of the education sector we have to shut by law.  ...

All pupils will be receiving an email over the next few days with September timetables and all of the relevant information regarding the changes we have put in...

May Update

Dear Pupils and Parents, I hope that you are continuing to stay safe and well during these rather surreal times. I would like to send you all my heartfelt thanks for your continued support over the last couple of months. We greatly appreciate the many lovely messages of support which you have sent during these uncertain and challenging times. It has been so nice to see all of the pupils smiling back at us on our screens (and sometimes their dogs and cats too!) and still being able to enjoy their dancing. Thank you to all of our staff, and...

Coronavirus

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PUPILS AND PARENTS: COVID-19 UPDATE 19TH MARCH 2020     Following the government’s advice this week to avoid gatherings, non-essential travel and contact with others, and then the announcement yesterday to close schools, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close Dance Warehouse as from Sunday 22nd March. This is not a decision we have come to lightly but the health and safety of our pupils, parents and staff is of paramount importance to us and we think it would be irresponsible to continue running classes and put everyone at risk until the medical...
