Dance Warehouse
About Dance Warehouse
Dance Warehouse was started by Alison Clark LRAD in 1995 in an old warehouse in St. Dunstan’s, Canterbury. It began with 50 pupils and now has over 400. In September 2001 we opened a second school in Ashford, which is constantly growing. The school has fully qualified and dedicated staff who teach ballet, creative, contemporary, tap, jazz, hip-hop and drama. Ballet pupils can take Royal Academy of Dance examinations at graded and vocational levels if they wish. The school has an outstanding record of success in examinations and pupils can progress to the highest standards attainable.
All pupils are given performance opportunities throughout the year and can all participate in our biennial summer productions.
Pupils from the school have been accepted to The Royal Ballet School, Central Ballet School, Rambert School, Urdang Academy, London Studio Centre, Millenium Performing Arts and the Royal Academy of Dance. At present we also associates at the Royal Ballet School and Central School of Ballet and on the CAT schemes (Centre for Advanced Training) at Laban.
