Important Class Update – 1st November 2020
IMPORTANT CLASS UPDATE FOLLOWING THE
GOVERNMENT’S ANNOUNCEMENT
1ST NOVEMBER 2020
Dear Parents and Pupils,
Following the government’s announcement on Saturday evening I wanted to confirm that in-studio classes will continue until Wednesday and that then we will be transitioning back to online classes from Thursday when the national lockdown takes effect. I know how disappointed you will all be to hear this news having only been back in the studio for half term (as are we!) but unfortunately as dance schools are not recognised as part of the education sector we have to shut by law.
We will be running our online classes as we did during the last lockdown through a mixture of Zoom classes and Katieanne’s private Facebook Pages, with the main information point being our Google Classrooms to find class login details. You will be receiving further details about this by email. If for some reason you haven’t heard from us by the end of Tuesday please do get in touch.
All classes will follow the in-studio timetable that we have been running since September ie. classes will be on their normal day and time. Please check you have the correct login codes for your class as there are duplicate classes of particular levels during the week and across both branches of the school.
Whilst we do appreciate that online classes are not the same as in-studio classes, they do keep vital consistency in the student’s training and a sense of normality for our young people who have already had to endure an enormous amount of change and uncertainty this year.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support. Take care and stay safe, and remember although you may be dancing at home alone we are all in this together and THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
