Alison Clark

Founder and guest teacher

 

Alison trained at the Royal Academy of Dance (Head Student) and London Contemporary Dance School. She was a soloist with the City Contemporary Dance Company, Hong Kong performing for 4 years before returning to UK to start a family.

Alison taught at Thamesdown in Swindon, Bodiam Manor School in Sussex, and Just Dance in Canterbury, before opening Dance Warehouse in September 1995. She was appointed Chairperson of the South East Regional committee of the RAD in 2003 and in June 2004 she was appointed to the Executive Board of the Royal Academy of Dance, London.

Since retiring in 2015 Alison has kept an active interest in Dance Warehouse and the students’ progress. She enjoys being a guest teacher and the chance to work with the students to choreograph dances for various events they are performing in.
