Fees: Fees are non-refundable. Prices displayed are per ten week term (except those classes that are charged on a pay as you come basis), and are payable in advance no later than the end of week 4. We are happy for payment by instalments– please speak to us if you would like to pay by this method. Current students will be automatically allocated a place in the class(es) they are attending for the following term. We would kindly request that parents notify us with half a term’s notice if they wish to withdraw their child from a class otherwise a full term’s fee will be payable.
Safeguarding:
At Dance Warehouse we are committed to creating a safe and encouraging environment for children to learn how to dance. Pupils are supervised in class but the care and well-being of pupils outside of the studio is a joint responsibility with parents. Parents are responsible for ensuring that suitable arrangements are in place for the dropping off and collection of children before and after each class.
Teaching dance is a physical activity and appropriate physical contact between students and teachers in class is sometimes essential for correctional purposes. Physical contact is also sometimes necessary with working with younger pupils eg. when accompanying them to the toilet. We recognise that such physical contact is a potentially complex area, and the school also fully recognises its responsibilities for safeguarding students and teachers and for protecting their welfare. We, as staff, will therefore treat any physical contact with relevant sensitivity and care, and with due regard for the wishes of the student. Students have the right to request no physical contact from the teacher if they wish, and should report any concerns to us.
